Are you a creative social media professional with a passion for building brands and growing engaged online communities?
We're recruiting on behalf of an exciting, fast-growing e-commerce business that's undergoing an ambitious brand transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of organic social media, shape a growing brand's online presence, and make a real commercial impact within a collaborative marketing team.
Working closely with the Brand & Content Manager, you'll bring campaigns, creative ideas and brand stories to life through engaging, social-first content that drives awareness, engagement and audience growth.
The Role
As Social Media Manager, you'll lead the strategy, execution and performance of the company's organic social channels across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube.
You'll be responsible for content planning, content creation, community management, channel growth and performance optimisation, ensuring the brand remains relevant, engaging and culturally connected.

Key Responsibilities👇
Social Strategy & Growth
- Own and develop the organic social media strategy across all major platforms.
- Drive audience growth, engagement and community development.
- Identify emerging trends, platform updates and new content opportunities.
- Develop channel-specific content aligned with wider marketing and commercial objectives.
- Continuously test, measure and optimise content performance.
Content Creation & Publishing
- Manage the social content calendar and publishing schedule.
- Create engaging social-first content including:
- Reels
- TikToks
- Short-form video
- Lifestyle imagery
- User-generated content (UGC)
- Platform-specific captions and copy
- Adapt wider marketing campaigns into high-performing social content.
- Ensure all content reflects brand guidelines and creative standards.

Community Management
- Build and nurture an engaged online community.
- Respond to comments, messages and customer interactions in a timely and authentic manner.
- Develop relationships with customers, creators and brand advocates.
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement, loyalty and advocacy.
Creator & Influencer Content
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to align influencer and creator activity with campaigns.
- Support influencer collaborations through content guidance and best practice.
- Repurpose creator-generated content across owned social channels.
Performance & Analytics
- Monitor and analyse social media performance across all platforms.
- Produce regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Track engagement, reach, impressions, audience growth, video performance and website traffic.
- Use data to continuously improve content effectiveness and audience engagement.
Social Operations
- Manage scheduling and publishing tools.
- Maintain efficient content planning workflows.
- Stay up to date with platform developments, competitor activity and emerging social trends.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- 2+ years' experience in Social Media Marketing or a similar role.
- Experience managing organic social channels for a consumer-facing brand.
- Proven experience creating engaging social-first content, particularly short-form video.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics and Google Analytics (GA4).
- Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar creative tools.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and platform best practices.
- Excellent organisation and project management skills.

- Experience within e-commerce, home interiors, lifestyle, fashion or consumer brands.
- Experience growing social channels organically.
- Experience working with influencers and content creators.
- Experience in a fast-growth direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment.
Portfolio Submission
To be considered, applicants must submit a portfolio demonstrating relevant work, which may include:
- Social media campaigns and channel growth examples
- Reels, TikToks and other short-form video content

- Influencer and creator collaborations
- Campaign execution
- Copywriting examples
- Measurable social media results and performance improvements
