Social Media Manager - London (Hybrid) - Advertising Agency
Are you a social media superstar, who is well-versed in social ideation, executing awesome social and creative strategies which resonate well with audiences?
Do you live and breathe social media, with amazing channel know-how, a data and analytical mindset and aware of what's trending online?
Are you ideas driven, do you enjoy working on polished B2B social ads, UGC or always on organic social campaigns?
If you answered "yes" we want to speak to you today.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a hands-on Social Media superstar who lives and breathes social - someone who can think big-picture strategy one moment and be in the trenches writing captions, building calendars, and editing content the next. You'll be the social heartbeat of the agency, personally owning everything from platform strategy and content planning through to the actual day-to-day execution.
This is not a role for someone who delegates the doing. You'll be deeply involved in the work itself - creating content, managing channels, and getting your hands dirty across every client you touch. If you love the craft of social as much as the strategy, you'll thrive here.
What you’ll be doing?
Initially working on one of their key pharma clients, you will be the day to day support as we launch their content. Working with the team internally and our agency partners, the role will cover many exciting pillars:
You’ll be socially strategic
- Working alongside the strategy lead, you support developing comprehensive, insight-led social media strategies tailored to each client's brand, audience, and business objectives - you write these.
- Conduct hands-on platform audits, competitor analysis, and audience research to identify opportunities and whitespace.
- Define and actively manage channel strategy, tone of voice, and content pillars across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
- Present strategies confidently to clients and senior stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ll own the content planning, collaborating with the teams & community management
- Build and manage editorial content calendars yourself, from concept through to delivery - on time, every time.
- Personally map content rhythms around key calendar moments, brand campaigns, product launches, and platform best practices for the client.
- Work directly alongside internal creative, copy, and design teams - you're an active collaborator, not just a briefer.
- Own the content pipeline end-to-end, flagging risks and opportunities well in advance.
- Work with our client and their compliance teams to ensure content is brand-approved and suitable for the channels.
- Be the community manager of the brands channels, following the brand guidelines as necessary.
You’ll flex your creative skills
- Hands-on creation of social content - writing copy, concepting visuals, producing short-form video, Stories, and Reels yourself where needed.
- Get stuck into the craft: you're as comfortable in CapCut or Canva as you are in a strategy deck.
- You love working with partners for developing content, whether that’s internally or with agency partners.
- Stay ahead of content trends and proactively test new formats - not just recommend them, let’s embrace them!
- Review and quality-check all content before it goes live, ensuring it's on-brand and optimised for each platform.
