Role Description

The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for managing and growing Ergon Grid’s presence across key social media platforms. This role involves:

  • Planning and executing social media campaigns
  • Creating and scheduling posts
  • Monitoring performance metrics
  • Optimizing content for engagement and reach

The Social Media Manager will collaborate with marketing, partnerships, and product teams to support brand awareness, community building, and lead generation, while ensuring consistent and inclusive messaging.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Managing social media calendars
  • Engaging with followers and partners
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Identifying trends
  • Providing regular reports and insights to inform strategy

Qualifications

  • Skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan, execute, and refine campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Strong Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, engaging, and inclusive content and respond effectively to online audiences.
  • Skills in Content Strategy to develop platform-specific plans, align messaging with overall brand goals, and support integrated marketing initiatives.

Beneficial:

  • Experience with social media analytics tools, performance reporting, and data-driven optimization.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles, community management, and current social media trends.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in education, workforce development, or related sectors.

Preferred:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
