Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Social Media Manager role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The Social Media Manager will plan, create, and publish engaging content across the club’s social media channels to grow audience reach, deepen fan engagement, and strengthen brand awareness.

  • Developing and executing social media campaigns
  • Managing content calendars
  • Optimizing posts for each platform

The role will collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and basketball operations teams to align content with key games, events, community initiatives, and commercial partnerships. Day-to-day tasks also include community management, responding to fan interactions, and staying up to date with social media trends relevant to sports, culture, and entertainment.

Qualifications

  • Strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to manage and grow multi-platform channels.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective Content Strategy tailored to sports and entertainment audiences.
  • Excellent Writing and Communication skills, with a focus on clear, engaging, and brand-consistent messaging.
  • Experience using social media analytics tools to track performance, report insights, and refine campaigns.
  • Background in sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brands is beneficial, particularly within basketball culture.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., basic graphic design, video editing) is an advantage.
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, media, or a related field.
