SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Holly & Co exists to champion small businesses and the people who build them. Our content is built on craft, story and heart — and we believe that a story told well is the most powerful commercial act we have. We're looking for a Social Media Manager who doesn't see creativity and commerce as a trade-off, but as the same thing: content that earns attention because it's genuinely worth stopping for, from an audience that is loyal, considered, and acts when something resonates.
You will own @holly.co and @hollytucker — two accounts with distinct audiences and a clear commercial purpose — setting the organic strategy, running the content calendar, and being commercially accountable for what social contributes to the business across both gifting and self-purchase.
You will work closely alongside our Paid Media Manager and Community Lead, with support on day-to-day comments and DMs from another team member — freeing you to focus on strategy, content and commercial performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Organic Social Strategy
- Own the content and commerce calendar across @holly.co and @hollytucker — planned with the trading calendar, gifting moments, and self-purchase opportunities front of mind
- Set and track commercial KPIs for organic social: link clicks, profile visits, reach and downstream revenue impact
- Plan, post and manage stories, feed content and reels across both accounts
- Build the feedback loop between organic and paid, working closely with our Paid Media Manager
- Work alongside our Community Lead on @hollytucker, bringing commercial rigour to an account with strong engagement but an underdeveloped commerce path
Content Production
- Shoot and edit a significant proportion of organic content yourself — phone-first, repurposed, or drawn from existing assets
- Brief the video team for organic content needs beyond your own capability, with clear creative direction
- Join content and photography days, identifying organic opportunities alongside the wider production schedule
- Maintain a consistent visual and editorial standard across both accounts that reflects Holly & Co's commitment to craft and story

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

ABOUT YOU
Experience & Skills

- Ecommerce or DTC background — you understand what organic social needs to contribute commercially
- Experience with seasonal, occasion-driven or self-purchase categories is highly valued
- Pinterest experience is an advantage; a genuine willingness to learn and develop it is essential
Personal Qualities
- Commercially minded: you think about what content needs to achieve, not just what it needs to look like

ABOUT HOLLY & CO
Holly & Co is fast becoming one of the UK's most exciting retailers, and we're on the cusp of launching something set to change business for the better: better for creators, better for society and better for the planet. If you're curious, talented and have something less ordinary to bring to the table, we'd love to meet you. We also work on an island, and that's just the start of what makes Holly & Co refreshingly unique. Our founder has built something that genuinely challenges what business can look like — championing artists and makers, staying fiercely true to what we believe in and approaching everything we do in an innovative way.
As we exist to champion small businesses and the people who build them, and as a marketplace, our social channels are one of the most important ways we bring all we are to life. We tell the stories of the makers and the Co's behind the products. We celebrate craft, beauty, and the human detail behind what people buy. We connect a loyal, considered audience with things they will genuinely love.
So if you're driven by purpose, want to work with a team of smart, funny people who think 'we not I', and thrive on never having the same day twice — we want to hear from you.
HOW TO APPLY
We would really appreciate a cover letter to support your application. Please email this to careers@holly.co and include answers to the following three questions. We read every application and a thoughtful answer to these three questions will tell us more than the LinkedIn CV application alone.
- Tell us about an organic social campaign or piece of content you've owned that genuinely moved the needle commercially. What did you do, and what were the results?
- Tell us about a social account — in or outside our category — that you think gets the balance between great storytelling and commercial performance exactly right. What makes it work?
- What draws you to Holly & Co specifically — and what do you think the biggest opportunity is for us on social right now?
Closing date for applications is midnight on Monday 27 July 2026.
