About The Public Platform

The Public Platform is a London-based communications consultancy focused on helping brands go beyond traditional PR through clear strategy, cultural relevance and compelling storytelling across every platform.

Combining the focus of a boutique consultancy with a fully integrated approach to communications, The Public Platform shapes a brand’s entire presence rather than simply generating press coverage. Its services span public relations, social media strategy, content creation, events and partnerships, each tailored to a client’s specific objectives.

Working with leading luxury, hospitality and lifestyle brands, the agency helps clients communicate with clarity, build meaningful audience connections and create lasting cultural relevance through thoughtful, commercially driven campaigns.

The role

This is a full-time, hybrid role based at the agency’s office at 14 Vernon Street, London W14 0RJ, combining office-based and remote working. You will report directly to the Company’s two Directors, and will be responsible for planning and executing social media strategy across platforms, managing publishing schedules and producing content across a portfolio of clients spanning luxury hospitality, lifestyle and drinks.

You will produce original content (copy, video and photography) aligned to each client’s brand guidelines and campaign objectives, and take the lead on shooting content at venues, events and client activations. You will monitor performance, analyse results and refine strategy accordingly, while staying ahead of platform updates and evolving best practice.

You will work closely with the wider agency team on integrated campaigns, coordinate directly with clients and contribute to content calendars, reporting and creative ideation. This role sits at the helm of the agency’s growing social media management and content division, an area in genuine and active expansion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We are looking for someone highly organised, creative and proactive, with a genuine passion for social media, luxury brands and digital storytelling. You will be confident managing multiple clients simultaneously, comfortable taking ownership and equally at home working independently and collaboratively.

Ours is a small, close-knit team that takes real pride in its work and in its clients. We are looking for someone who shares that standard, and the same appetite for the work, as much as the skills to deliver it.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience managing social media channels end-to-end, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other emerging platforms, with a current understanding of how trends, formats and content requirements differ across each.
  • Full ownership of campaigns, strategy and content calendars across multiple clients, from concept through to delivery and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience producing original photography and video content, including use of professional camera systems (Canon and Fujifilm) and studio or portable lighting setups.
  • Proven strong post-production skills across DaVinci Resolve (or alternatively Adobe Premiere Pro/ Apple Final Cut Pro), Adobe Lightroom and CapCut.
  • Excellent writing ability, with skill in adapting tone and copy across brand voice, platform and audience.
  • Confidence interpreting analytics and reporting on key social metrics, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Highly organised, with strong time management and the ability to handle multiple clients, deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and comfort working in a hybrid setup, coordinating with clients and colleagues both in person and remotely.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to capture content at events, launches or client activations.
  • Discretion when handling embargoed campaigns, unreleased work and confidential client information.
  • A background in social media management, content creation, digital media or a related field; prior experience with luxury, hospitality or lifestyle brands is an advantage.
