This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative social media professional to help a growing furniture and home decor business expand its digital footprint. The position focuses on developing engaging content strategies, producing high-quality video and visual content, and driving audience growth across key social platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for upcycled and handmade products, a keen eye for design, and the ability to translate brand values into compelling online narratives. The role is long-term and ongoing, with a hybrid work arrangement and occasional travel as needed.
Deliverables
- Develop and implement a content calendar tailored to the brand’s target audience and product offerings.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging video and photo content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with the business to highlight new products, promotions, and behind-the-scenes stories.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
- Attend occasional on-site events or shoots to capture content as required.

Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and video editing.
- Strong understanding of current social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency with video editing tools and graphic design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
- Flexibility for occasional travel and on-site work in Leicester, UK.
- Interest in upcycled, handmade, or sustainable products is highly desirable.
