Social Media Manager (Paid & Organic)

Salary £ 46,800

Full time, permanent, hybrid working with approx. 2-3 days in the office

We are looking for a highly analytical, creative, and commercially minded Social Media Manager to lead our paid and organic social activity and turn our channels into a genuine driver of brand awareness, audience growth, and income. This is a role for someone who understands that success is not measured by followers and likes alone, but by reaching and engaging the right audiences, in the right way on each platform, and by demonstrating the real impact this has on awareness, engagement, and income. A sharp focus on platform performance and analytics is essential, alongside the confidence to develop, adapt, and pivot quickly when one piece of content performs, and another does not.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a social media content strategy that supports the RSM’s new five year strategy, and Engagement objectives.
  • Audit our social media channels to benchmark current performance and outline clear, prioritised improvements.
  • Plan, produce, edit, and curate high quality, engaging content.
  • Create content calendars that align with market trends and audience interests.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on performance across all platforms.
  • Use platform analytics to understand what is and is not working.
  • Grow and engage the right audiences for the RSM.
  • Use audience segmentation and insight to refine targeting.
  • Plan, deliver, and optimise paid social campaigns.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
