About SportPursuit:
SportPursuit (sportpursuit.com) is Europe's leading off-price destination for sports and outdoor enthusiasts. We partner with the world's best sporting brands to offer exclusive, time-limited deals of up to 70% off across cycling, running, skiing, watersports, and more. With a passionate community of over four million members, we are on a mission to help more people do more sport for less.
Backed by our parent company Sportscape Group - which also operates Private Sport Shop (privatesportshop.fr) - we combine the energy of a start-up with the resources and reach of a pan-European retail group. There has never been a more exciting time to join us.
The Role:
We are looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media Manager to own and grow SportPursuit's presence across all major social platforms. You will be the voice of the brand online - crafting compelling content, nurturing our community, and turning followers into loyal members. This is a hands-on role that combines creative storytelling with sharp commercial thinking.
The choice is yours: you can be based in our London office or seize the opportunity to settle under the sun in Montpellier! Wherever you choose to sit, you will work in close collaboration with our Marketing and Trading teams. You will play a key role in aligning social strategy across both SportPursuit and Private Sport Shop brands where relevant.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Channel Management
- Plan, create, and publish high-quality and engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Strava, etc. tailored to each platform's format and audience.
- Develop thumb-stopping short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) that showcases our deals, brand partners, and sporting lifestyle.
- Manage the social content calendar, ensuring consistent posting cadence and alignment with campaign and trading priorities.
- Source, brief, and collaborate with freelance content creators, photographers, and videographers when required.
- Write compelling copy, captions, and calls-to-action that reflect the SportPursuit tone of voice.
- Leverage AI content tools (e.g. generative image platforms, AI video editors, copywriting assistants) to scale content output and experiment with new creative formats, while maintaining brand quality and authenticity.
Strategy & Brand Alignment
- Develop and own the social media strategy, rooted in SportPursuit's brand values: accessibility, passion for sport, and outstanding value.
- Ensure all content aligns with the marketing strategy to support member acquisition, deal engagement, and retention, while demonstrating the ability to identify and leverage content that truly drives engagement within our sport community.
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to integrate social into broader campaigns, product launches, and seasonal moments (e.g. Tour de France, ski season, summer running events).
- Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activity, proactively identifying opportunities to grow reach and engagement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
