ThePlaceToBe are excited to be continuing a strong partnership with an exciting beauty brand to help them appoint a Social Media Manager to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent role for somebody who may come from a freelance background, or somebody who is looking to diversify their CV.

Ideally, you would have knowledge within the Beauty space. This role will be working across all major channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Reddit. We are looking for a confident individual who can be the driving force behind the social media efforts for the brand and hit the ground running.

This is an end to end Social Media Manager role. As such, you will be spearheading and be responsible for the social media efforts on behalf of the business, as part of their wider marketing strategy.

What you’ll be doing day to day...

  • Content calendars, ideation, content creation and posting
  • Keeping an eye on trends and staying ahead of the curve when it comes to influencers in the space
  • Reaching out and working with influencers within the industry
  • Working with external stakeholders for any wider social campaigns such as paid social when needed

About you...

You may come from a freelance background and be open to a fixed term contract. This is a maternity leave contract but there may be an opportunity for continued support if needed. You may also be looking to step into a role and challenge yourself to sharpen and define your CV. This role comes with a lot of responsibility so somebody who lives and breathes social is the type of person we are looking for.

What we're looking for...

  • Around 3+ years experience in Social Media across agency and/or brand side
  • Ideally somebody who has worked with Beauty / Wellness brands
  • Somebody who has worked through the ranks of content creation, writing for social media & creating content calendars
  • A confident and driven individual who can work closely and efficiently within a wider marketing team
