Social Media Manager

Social Media & Content Manager

£35,000 – £45,000 DOE Remote (1 day per week in the office, London-based ideal) Full-time, permanent

ThePlaceToBe are excited to partner with an innovative health & wellness brand to appoint a Social Media & Content Manager for their growing marketing team.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels at creating engaging content, predicting trends, and fostering vibrant online communities. You’ll lead the organic social strategy while crafting compelling content that brings the brand to life across key digital platforms.


About the Role

This hands-on position demands both creativity and strategy. Responsibilities include shaping the brand’s social presence, planning and executing engaging content, managing community engagement, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging.

In addition to organic social, you’ll support paid campaign creative direction, developing and testing performant content to drive engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Own the organic social strategy across key platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Plan, create, and publish engaging content, with a focus on short-form video
  • Write compelling captions, scripts, and creative briefs
  • Identify trending opportunities to boost brand awareness
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on integrated campaigns
  • Support paid social creative development and campaign testing

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a confident, creative marketer who’s passionate about social media and understands audience engagement. Comfortable both behind the camera and in front, you enjoy producing high volumes of content while balancing creativity with commercial outcomes. Proactive, organised, and collaborative, you’ll enjoy autonomy and impactful contributions.

Requirements & Preference

  • 5+ years’ experience in Social Media or Content-focused roles
  • Strong track record of growing organic social channels
  • Proficient in content creation, including filming and editing short-form video (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels)
  • Understanding of paid social creative and performance-driven content
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva and CapCut
  • Preferred experience in health, wellbeing, or lifestyle brands
