Guru Games Marketing & Growth Intern / Lead
Guru Games is looking for a creative, ambitious Marketing & Growth Intern / Lead to help grow our brand and launch our first mobile game to the world.
We’re an early-stage, incorporated British startup building puzzle games that are fun, competitive, and genuinely help players improve. Our first app, Total Sudoku - Puzzle Games, is now live on the App Store and Google Play.
Total Sudoku is a competitive Sudoku app with multiple puzzle variants, including Colour Sudoku, skill-based matchmaking, smart hints, a training ground for learning techniques, custom colour palettes, community-created modes, and more.
We’re now looking for someone to help us get the game in front of as many people as possible.
The Role
You’ll work directly with the founder to grow the Guru Games brand across:
- TikTok
- X
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You won’t just be “helping out” — you’ll be responsible for shaping our content strategy, growing our audience, testing ideas, and helping turn Total Sudoku into a recognisable puzzle gaming brand.
The role can be part-time or full-time, depending on your availability and we're happy to offer longer term leading roles post internship. We’re flexible on structure and more focused on finding someone who is excited by the vision and ready to build.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll help create and manage content across our main social channels, including:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
