About the Role

This is a volunteer, remote role for a Social Media Marketing Intern. The intern will be responsible for creating engaging social media content, scheduling posts, monitoring interactions, and analyzing audience engagement. The role also involves researching trends, assisting in the development of marketing campaigns, and collaborating with the marketing team to increase brand awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate will contribute creative ideas and work collaboratively with the team to strengthen the online presence of Armbrella’s mission.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and on-brand content (posts, reels, carousels, stories) for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Assist in planning and executing weekly content calendars
  • Schedule posts and monitor comments, messages, and audience interactions
  • Research social media trends, wellness content formats, and emerging platform features
  • Support marketing campaigns, challenges, and brand initiatives
  • Analyze content performance using engagement metrics (reach, likes, shares, saves, growth trends)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and contribute creative ideas
  • Help strengthen Armbrella’s online community and brand voice

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation to create and manage impactful and engaging content.
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing and Marketing to develop strategies for expanding reach and improving brand visibility.
  • Proficiency in Canva (desirable)
  • Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team and engage with online audiences.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn), trends, and analytics tools.
  • Passion for digital health, fitness, and mental wellness is highly desirable.
  • Currently pursuing studies in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
