The Ribbon Box is a fast-growing global media platform dedicated to wellbeing, fertility, pregnancy and parenting. Based in Chiswick, West London, we connect millions of people with trusted experts, brands and resources that support them through some of life's biggest milestones.
We're looking for a creative, ambitious and socially-savvy Social Media Content Creator & Strategist. This is a specialist role in a small but mighty all-female creative team, and an exciting opportunity for someone who is as passionate about women’s wellbeing as they are about creating social media content, and is looking to build a long-term career within a growing mission-driven digital media business.
The role
As our Social Media Content Creator & Strategist, you'll play a key role in shaping and growing The Ribbon Box's social presence across multiple platforms. You'll be responsible for creating engaging content, spotting trends, developing platform-specific strategies, managing client and partner relationships, and helping drive audience growth across our channels.
You'll work closely with our creative, partnerships and leadership teams, bringing fresh ideas, strategic thinking and a strong understanding of what performs across today's social landscape.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, design, and curate engaging and trending content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and more
- Conceptualise and create video content, graphics and stills to drive engagement and growth
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotions across multiple clients in the fertility, wellbeing pregnancy and parenting sectors, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
- Conduct research to identify trends and provide recommendations for content strategy
- Collaborate daily with the creative and partnerships team on content planning and strategy
- Support our Editorial Lead with managing client communications, project timelines and content delivery with professionalism and attention to detail
- Foster relationships within our online community, as well as influencers and brand advocates, to manage brand reputation
- Consistent front of camera presence, presenting in videos and hosting TikTok and IG lives and podcast episodes

Required experience and skills
- 2 years of experience in social media management, community management, content creation, or digital marketing
- Strong proficiency in social media platforms and content creation
- A keen eye for social trends
- Strong creativity, with natural aesthetic feel and visual storytelling
- Skilled in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva)
- Excellent organisational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and campaigns simultaneously
- Ability to analyse data to inform content strategy
- A genuine interest in (or lived experience of) the wellbeing, fertility, pregnancy, parenting or women's health sectors
Nice to have
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism or a related field
- Experience working in-house for a digital or creative agency

Starting salary
£26,500-£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
