About the Role
Imagine shaping a global social media strategy for a world-leading brand, creating daily content across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and beyond, and seeing its impact in real time. Videojet’s solutions ensure safety, authenticity, and regulatory compliance in leading industries, including food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, and industrial products. Key Responsibilities
1. Global Social Media Strategy & Ownership
- Define and execute a global social media strategy aligned with business priorities, brand objectives, and campaign goals.
- Set content standards, channels, and ways of working to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Ensure social media aligns with broader marketing and business goals.
2. Regional & Local Enablement
- Provide strategic guidance and best practices to regional/local teams for effective social activation.
- Support global consistency while allowing for localised market relevance.
3. Content Strategy & Creation
- Lead content ideation, development, and production, including copywriting, visuals, carousels, and campaign retelling.
- Collaborate with internal teams to bring campaigns and product stories to life across platforms.
4. Creative & Asset Production
- Develop and coordinate engaging social content (copy, graphics, videos) with the in-house creative team.
- Videography/editing skills are advantageous but not essential.

5. Channel Management & Optimisation
- Oversee LinkedIn as the primary global channel while adapting for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, WhatsApp, WeChat, and more.
- Optimise content by platform to enhance reach, engagement, and performance.
6. Community Engagement & Response Management
- Monitor engagement and respond professionally to maintain brand trust and connection.
- Foster community relationships beyond existing platforms (e.g., Reddit, LinkedIn Groups).
7. Trends & Continuous Improvement
- Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, formats, and AI tools.
- Test new approaches while applying best practices to keep content innovative and effective.
8. AI-Enabled Content Creation
- Leverage AI confidently for content ideation, creation, optimisation, and workflow efficiency.
- Understand AI’s potential, risks, and limitations for thoughtful application.
9. Performance & Analytics
- Track, analyse, and report on engagement, reach, and campaign effectiveness.
- Use insights to refine strategy and improve KPI alignment.
10. Cross-Business Collaboration
- Work closely with global marketing, regional teams, product leaders, and campaign managers to ensure alignment.

Location & Working Arrangements
Location: Nottingham, UK (hybrid, 3 days office-based per week).
Requirements & Skills
Essential Criteria
- 3+ years in social media, digital content strategy, or integrated marketing.
- Proven experience owning social media for global brands, including channels like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Hands-on experience with content creation (copywriting, visuals, video) across platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to measure performance, interpret data, and apply insights.
Soft Skills & Attributes
- Excellent stakeholder communication and stakeholder management globally/regionally.
- Creative mindset with digital agility and a knack for spotting engagement opportunities.
- Proactive, organised, and confident working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor’s in Marketing/Communications/Digital Media or related field.
- Experience using AI tools for content/API.
- Videography/video editing expertise.
- Playground in global/regional marketing teams navigating hierarchical workflows.
- Knowledge of enterprise social tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
