Social Media Strategy Manager

As Manager Strategy at Pulse Advertising, you'll lead the development of bold, insight-driven social media, influencer, and paid social strategies for a diverse portfolio of global clients. You'll bring together data, culture, and creativity to shape work that actually moves brands forward with AI as a core part of your toolkit, not an afterthought.
Tasks
- You own brand, digital, and social media strategies from initial insight through to client presentation and execution handover
- You serve as a trusted strategic partner, consulting clients across social media, influencer marketing, creative, and integrated communications, adapting your approach to different markets, cultural nuances, and local consumer insights
- You conduct audience, brand, and competitor analyses using social listening, audience segmentation, and trend analysis tools to surface clear, actionable strategic recommendations that drive measurable client outcomes
- You develop creator, influencer, and UGC strategies across a wide range of industries including FMCG, retail, automotive, luxury, and technology
- You contribute to pitch and new business processes, bringing strategic rigour, quick creative thinking, and a confident point of view
- You collaborate closely with Client Services, Paid Media, and Data teams to ensure strategies are coherent, executable, and effective across all markets

Requirements
- You have 3+ years of agency experience in a strategy role, ideally within social media or digital, with a proven track record across diverse industries and business categories
- You bring deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and the broader creator economy, and you understand how platform behaviour and cultural context differ across markets
- You are confident working with audience data and insights platforms such as GWI, Brandwatch, Audiense, Pulsar, or B4P and know how to turn raw data into a sharp point of view
- You work confidently with AI-powered marketing tools and know how to use them to elevate strategic thinking and client recommendations
- You can think on your feet, coming up with clever, socially native solutions in the room with clients and the team, not just in a deck
- You bring a collaborative, low-ego approach, communicate and present with impact, and thrive in fast-moving, international environments. English fluency required, German, French, or Italian a strong plus
