You're a confident social media operator! HOPE ON A PLATE is an innovative foodie fundraising initiative raising funds so more transformational Muscle Dream interventions can be realised for UK children living with Muscular Dystrophy. Can you help us change more lives?

Ultimately, you will be making a difference in helping us move closer to MHF's current mission of delivering 657 Muscle Dreams for children, young people & adults (8-35yrs) living with Muscular Dystrophy across the UK, that’s one life-changing experience for every muscle in the human body.

What will you be doing?

You love food (not essential) & you love social media (essential)! You’re perhaps a content creator. You write accurately. You want to make a difference! This fun foodie fundraiser needs skills, passion & time. Funds raised will help realise more life-changing Muscle Dream experiences in the UK for vulnerable children living with Muscular Dystrophy (MD).

You're a self-starter, a strong communicator, with social media experience. If you love meatballs or not, this is a playful initiative! It's a fundraiser with a simple goal ~ to encourage hotels, restaurants, pubs & contract catering businesses to get behind to get behind it and help make it a succes!

Whilst this is a short-term (4 months) project, depending on how it rolls (no pun intended!), there may be an opportunity to move this opportunity from a voluntary basis to a paid basis. This is based entirely on the results you achieve but also whether our values align with yours, whether we fit into your world and vice-versa. Plus as an MHF Volunteer, we're keen to ensure that your objectives are being fulfilled and that you find your interactions with us rewarding, stimulating and helpful.

With support from MHF's inspiring founder & CEO, you will have full autonomy across our social channels to help make this a success in the 2026/27 period.

Help us exploit social media via posts that cut through & drive up engagement. You'll start just as soon as you are able to. We believe this role will lend itself brilliantly to someone who may not only be a bit of a foodie but who can also see the opportunity and CAN MAKE THINGS HAPPEN - it will be a fun short-term project, with plenty of flexibility.
