SOCIAL PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Contract: Procurement
Location: London (E14 9SH)
Hours of work: 37.5 hrs per week
Contract Type: Permanent | Hybrid

We are seeking a Social Procurement Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering ISS UK & Ireland’s social procurement agenda - helping us to create greater social value through the supply chain.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Excellence, this role will work closely with procurement teams, wider stakeholders, suppliers and external bodies to embed supplier diversity, responsible sourcing and modern slavery due diligence into day-to-day procurement activity.

Job Description

We are looking for a practical, impact-focused individual who can strengthen governance, improve reporting and demonstrate how ISS uses its scale and supply chain to do business responsibly, with a particular focus on ethical sourcing, modern slavery risk management and stakeholder engagement. Key areas of responsibility include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve modern slavery and human rights due diligence across the supply chain
  • Support the Modern Slavery Working Group and contribute to annual objectives
  • Produce the annual Modern Slavery Statement and ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Manage supplier risk assessments, including mapping, profiling and due diligence
  • Oversee supplier audits and track corrective actions
  • Handle supplier escalations relating to ethical risks and non-compliance
  • Embed responsible procurement into onboarding, tendering and supplier management
  • Support bids, tenders and client presentations with responsible procurement input

About You

  • Experience in responsible procurement, sustainability, social value or ethical sourcing
  • Strong knowledge of modern slavery and supply chain risk management
  • Confident analysing supplier data and producing clear reports or insights
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change
  • Highly organised, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates integrity and sound judgement in sensitive situations
  • Comfortable challenging practices and embedding new ways of working
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel regionally (company car or car allowance is provided)
