About the Role
We are hiring a The Social Solutions Lead based at our London office under flexible working arrangements (currently 2 days in-office per week).
This role will lead the creation of cutting-edge social media solutions that optimise audiences, creative performance, commercial outcomes, and integrate seamlessly into omni-channel strategies—leveraging paid social, influencer marketing, and consumer-generated content.
Purpose of the Role
The Social Solutions Lead will:
- Design market-leading social solutions, fusing platform expertise, audience insight, creative thinking, and rigorous measurement with commercial acumen.
- Develop an end-to-end social solutions framework that works across all key platforms—optimising audiences, creative, and business outcomes.
- Connect social media strategies directly into omni-channel planning, ensuring alignment with search performance and overall campaign goals.
- Turn Dentsu’s proprietary assets, partnerships, and platform capabilities into scalable, innovative solutions that deliver a distinct Dentsu difference for clients.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A highly strategic thinker with hands-on digital execution experience.
- Comfortable in shaping propositions, mapping processes, and advocating change across stakeholders.
- Skilled in translating complex channel capabilities into practical, revenue-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop Market-Leading Social Solutions
- Create distinctive, high-impact social strategies blending:
- Platform innovation (retargeting, micro-moments, dynamic creative)
- Dentsu’s proprietary tools and data-led insights
- Data-driven storytelling to drive business value
- Turn platform capabilities into full-funnel solutions that improve targeting, creative effectiveness, activation, and measurement.
2. Mastery of Social Platforms & Tactics
- Lead paid social (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), influencer partnerships, and consumer-generated content (UGC).
- Ensure solutions work above-the-fold and integrate influencer and UGC into full-funnel strategies.
3. Define "Great" Across Social Spectrum
- Establish best practices for:
- Social planning (audiences, messaging, timing)
- Buying & optimisation (data-driven bidding, spend allocation)
- Measurement & ROI (attribution, cross-channel impact)
4. Creative & Optimisation Excellence
- Drivе full-funnel performance using:
- Platform-native techniques (e.g., Lookalike Audiences on Meta, TikTok Creative Centre)
- Test-and-learn methodologies to refine strategies dynamically
- Ensure creative testing is embedded in all social campaigns.
5. Omni-Channel & Search Integration
- Partner with AV (Audio, Video) and Addressable leads to define social’s role in:
- Audience design (360° identity graph)
- Measurement & workflows
- Integrated planning beyond social alone.
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone with:
- Deep expertise in paid social: planning, buying, optimisation, and measurement (budget optimisation, portfolio strategies, return modelling).
- Strong platform knowledge, particularly Meta/Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and a nuanced grasp of emerging platforms.
- Full-funnel social strategy experience—aligning awareness, consideration, conversion, and loyalty efforts.
- Proven ability to scale solutions—leveraging Dentsu’s partnerships, proprietary resources (e.g., Dentsu AI tools), and client-specific assets.
- Working understanding of how social + search complements performance marketing (e.g., dynamic search campaigns powered by social signals).
- Inspiring confidence in how CEC (from consumer to customer) ‘grows’ through social touchpoints.
- Funds manipulation skills (budget allocation, prioritisation, proration, and integrated media mathematics), ensuring smooth energy exchanges across paid media.
