Join Willmott Dixon’s Award-Winning Sustainability Team as a Social Value Manager

Make a real impact in the communities we serve.

We’re seeking a proactive and passionate Social Value Manager to lead community engagement and skills development projects in Plymouth. This hybrid role will see you working both on-site in Plymouth with the project team, visiting customers, our Exeter office and home. Reporting to the Principal Sustainability Manager, you'll support our ambitious Now or Never Sustainability Strategy, playing a critical role in aligning with customer priorities and delivering meaningful, measurable social value.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver social value activities that reflect customer and business needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on social value for teams, frameworks, and partners.
  • Drive collaboration across teams and supply chain partners to embed social value in our projects.
  • Support bid and tender processes, contributing social value insights and attending customer events.
  • Track and report on project performance against KPIs, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in social value delivery and customer-focused solution design; construction experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills with a genuine passion for social sustainability.
  • Proven ability to lead social value initiatives, inspire stakeholders, and drive impactful change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Criteria

  • Degree in Social Sustainability or related field.
  • Experience in facilitation or coaching.
  • Relevant CSCS card.
