Do you believe in the power of video to not only capture attention but to ignite action? Do you thrive in an environment where your work has the power to drive real-world impact? Are you the maestro of moments, who believes that every second of video holds the potential to tell a story, spark a movement, or change a mind?
Well well well, you might just be the Social Video Architect we’ve been searching for. At Bright/Shift, we’re not just looking for an editor to join our team; we’re looking for someone to elevate it. Someone whose creativity isn’t just outside the box - it’s on a completely different plane of existence.
The Role:
As our full-time Social Video Architect, you’ll lead our video content creation, editing ads that don’t just stand out - they leap off the screen. You’ll be crafting paid social adverts for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. By producing high-impact ads for our diverse, mission-driven clients, you’ll play a key role in capturing attention and driving growth. Your work will be a powerful force in stopping thumbs mid-scroll and delivering meaningful results. But here’s the twist: You won’t just be producing content; you’ll be pioneering it. Working alongside our top-tier team, you’ll leverage insights from past performance to spearhead fresh, innovative ideas that resonate on a whole new level.
What Sets You Apart:
- You have mastery of Premiere Pro and After Effects - this is non-negotiable
- You have a proven track record of creating social content that's not just seen, but felt
- You understand the cultural nuance of each platform and know how to create content that belongs there
- You have psychological instincts around video engagement. You know exactly how to grab attention and refuse to let it go
- You can create something out of nothing - raw creative intuition is your superpower
- Willingness to lean into AI
- Photoshop and/or Figma skills are a bonus, but not a dealbreaker
- Blender and 3D skills are a bonus, but not a dealbreaker

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
