About Zeteo

Zeteo is an independent media company on a mission to deliver hard-hitting journalism, unfiltered analysis and the bold opinions that corporate media won’t. Founded in 2024 by Mehdi Hasan after his departure from MSNBC, Zeteo has grown into one of the fastest-rising outlets in independent media.

We believe journalism should speak truth to power, without fear or favour. We’re reader-funded first, which means our editorial independence is total — and our relationship with our audience is everything.

As we expand our presence in the UK, we’re looking for a talented and versatile Social Video Editor/Producer to help bring Zeteo UK’s journalism to audiences across social platforms.

The Role

Zeteo UK is seeking a part-time Social Video Editor/Producer based in London to support the growth of our UK social media and video presence during our launch phase.

This role is expected to average approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as Zeteo UK’s editorial and production output expands.

You’ll work closely with Zeteo UK’s producers, presenters and reporters to transform original reporting, interviews, podcasts and video productions into engaging social media and video content. Responsibilities include creating social graphics, editing short-form clips, producing promotional assets, filming short videos and supporting the editing of longer-form interviews, podcasts and programmes.

We’re looking for someone with strong editing and filming skills, excellent news judgement and a deep understanding of how journalism travels across social platforms. Experience filming on location is a strong plus.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
