Key Responsibilities
The Children and Families Department adopts a strengths-based approach ("Our Nottinghamshire Approach"). This role involves working closely with children, young people, and families through the court system. Core duties include:
- Conducting assessments and delivering expert reports for both private and public court proceedings
- Collaborating with families, legal professionals, and partner agencies
- Developing and implementing care plans, while monitoring the welfare of children
- Providing support and advocacy for children and families within court settings

Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Qualified Social Worker status, with active Social Work England (SWE) registration
- Proven experience in child protection and court-based practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding principles
