Our Values

In line with our One Coventry Values, we want to ensure that our communities are represented across our workforce. A vital part of this is ensuring we are a truly inclusive organisation that encourages diversity in all respects, including diversity of thinking. We particularly welcome applicants from minority ethnic, LGBT+, disabled, and neurodiverse communities to make a real difference to our residents so that equity and respect remains at the heart of everything we do.

Our Values are:

  • Open and fair: We are fair, open, and transparent.
  • Nurture and develop: We help and encourage everyone to be their best and do their best.
  • Engage and empower: We talk and listen to others, working together as one.
  • Create and innovate: We embrace new ways of working to continuously improve.
  • Own and be accountable: We work together to deliver the best services for our residents.
  • Value and respect: We put diversity and inclusion at the heart of all we do.

We value diverse perspectives and experiences and are striving to create a workplace culture that is inclusive, is accepting of all, and is free from discrimination and bias.

We have a simple vision and strategy that defines what we are trying to achieve, our purpose, and our approach, which underpins the principles of Adult Social Care, and we continue to work in support of this.

In a simple sense, all our work, at whatever level, should continue to support the strategy of: ‘Providing support, in the least intrusive manner possible, based on the assets, resources, and abilities that are available to people’.

What is the job role?

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Leader to support a team in delivering responsive, personalised, and outcome-focused services for people and their carers.

We currently have opportunities in both Learning Disabilities and Mental Health services. Whilst the Learning Disabilities or the mental health team will be your host team and where you will be working predominantly, we do encourage flexibility across the service to meet the needs of our residents, and opportunities may arise within other service areas, and you may have the opportunity to work across disciplines. This approach not only supports service delivery but also plays an important role in developing our staff, giving you the chance to broaden your skills, experience different areas of practice, and grow within the service.

In this role, you will provide operational leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery that meets both national standards and local priorities. You will oversee performance management, manage delegated budgets, support effective safeguarding practices, and work collaboratively with partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
