Social Worker – Cygnet Ealing

We are looking for a confident, compassionate & committed Social Worker to join our team at Cygnet Ealing.
Joining us on a full-time, 37.5-hour per week basis working across 5 days, you will become a valued member of a supportive team.
Our practice area: Cygnet Hospital Ealing
Cygnet provides a national network of high-quality, specialist mental health services, with over 30 years of experience. We offer a conducive, non-institutional environment equipping personalised treatment for service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder, spanning two separate wards.
About the Role

Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to assist recovery
- Forge links and maintain contact with statutory agencies
- Lead on the social care needs of service users
- Ensure service users and their families/carers are aware of their legal rights
- Take an active role in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team
- Provide written reports to the multidisciplinary team and other professionals
Requirements
You must meet the following criteria:
- A Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
- Hold a relevant Social Work qualification
- Have experience in working within a mental health setting, or are passionate about this field
- Knowledgeable in:
- Safeguarding
- Health & safety
- Data protection & confidentiality
- Equality & diversity laws
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Skilled in report writing, with exceptional literacy skills and attention to detail
