Your Role And Responsibilities

We’re looking for passionate professionals to join our team and make a real difference through youth rehabilitation. In this role, you will:

  • Deliver innovative rehabilitation and intervention programs
  • Support young people and their families to prevent youth offending and promote positive change
  • Engage with victims of youth offences
  • Provide court support services, including weekends and bank holidays (once trained and as required)
  • Contribute to community safety initiatives
  • Work as part of a close-knit, motivated, and supportive team
  • Collaborate with specialist services and multi-agency networks

  • Demonstrate resilience, flexibility, and a belief in the power of rehabilitation
  • Apply professional curiosity, assessment, and analytical skills
  • Commit to youth justice reform.

What you will need:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
  • Excellent information-gathering and analytical skills
  • A commitment to your own professional development
  • If you do not already hold the Youth Justice Effective Practice Certificate (YJEPC) or the Professional Certificate in Effective Practice (including YJEPC Desistance Top-Up), you will be expected to work towards the YJEPC qualification as part of your employment. This qualification will be fully funded by Suffolk County Council.
  • To hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.

You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (JPP), which you can find in the ‘How to apply’ section towards the bottom of this advert. Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
