About the Role
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker for its Child Protection Team to support Nottinghamshire clients.
The role typically involves working on behalf of children and families in need, ensuring their safety, well-being, and long-term outcomes through expert intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of children and families to identify risks and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams (including health professionals, education, police, etc.).
- Undertake statutory visits and maintain accurate, up-to-date case records.
- Respond to and intervene in crisis situations to safeguard children’s immediate safety.
- Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with families to promote positive change and improve child welfare outcomes.
- Liaise with schools, healthcare providers, police, and other stakeholders to coordinate support.
- Prepare written reports and evidence for legal proceedings when required.
- Regularly monitor and review cases to ensure progress and compliance with care plans.
- Advocate for the rights and welfare of children and young people.

Qualifications & Experience
To apply, you must have:
- Registration with Social Work England
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- A full UK driving licence
- Post-qualification social work experience
- A degree-level or equivalent qualification in Social Work
