About The Borough

The London Borough of Sutton is situated less than 30 minutes by train from Central London, with direct connections to London Victoria and London Bridge. About The Role And Our Ideal Candidate

To ensure that residents' needs are assessed to determine eligibility for care and support, but also to ensure that they are protected from harm and abuse.

What The Job Actually Requires

Be able to hit the ground and work under autonomously Be passionate, empathetic and committed to support our residents Be a good team player and able to support the unqualified SW in the team. Be able to attend monthly supervision to discuss wellbeing and practice issues Be able to confidently complete safeguarding enquiries Be able to arrange and attend professional meetings with partner agencies to jointly plan effective interventions for residents.

About You

Qualified SW and registered with SW England Post grad training Good communication skills - both verbal and written. Quick learner and attentive to others Confident practitioner who will be able to positively challenge other professionals Good time management Ability to attend available training.

About Us

This is the Carshalton team, one of the four ASC locality teams. The team is responsible for completing care act assessments, carers assessments, completing annual reviews and also progressing s42(2) enquiries triaged from the safeguarding triage team.
