As a Social Worker, you will manage a varied caseload, undertaking assessments, developing care and support plans, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. - Undertake assessments of children and families in line with statutory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and review care and support plans.
- Manage a caseload that includes vulnerable children and families with complex needs.
- Carry out safeguarding investigations and child protection work where required.
- Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies.
- Attend case conferences, strategy meetings, and reviews.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate electronic case records.
- Represent the Local Authority in court proceedings when required.
- Participate in duty arrangements and emergency responses as necessary.
- Promote positive outcomes through effective intervention and support planning.
