Are you a passionate and motivated Social Worker looking for your next challenge?

Due to an exciting expansion of our service, the Erewash Long Term Social Work Teams are looking to recruit four dedicated Social Workers to join our friendly, supportive, and highly experienced team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a service that values professional autonomy, innovation, and high-quality social work practice. You will play a key role in supporting individuals through a strengths-based, person-centred approach, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met while enabling people to live the lives they choose.

We are seeking practitioners who can demonstrate:

  • Strong professional judgement, accountability, and autonomous decision-making
  • Excellent assessment and case management skills
  • Timely and accurate recording to support effective case progression
  • The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of partners, including Health, Housing, Police, and independent sector providers
  • A commitment to promoting independence, early intervention, and preventative support

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
