Job Title: Social Worker – Safeguarding Children Partnership Location: Middlesbrough Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (12-month agency cover) Salary: £34.46 per hour Start Date: Immediate
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its client's Safeguarding Children Partnership (SCP) Team based in Middlesbrough. This is a vital role within a busy team, providing statutory services and interventions to children and families.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure their safety and well-being, while managing a varied and challenging caseload.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
- Undertake Children & Families assessments in line with statutory requirements
- Chair Core Groups and Child in Need meetings
- Prepare and maintain care plans and reports for children in our care
- Attend PLO meetings and contribute to pre-proceedings work
- Prepare Court evidence and attend hearings as required
- Work directly with children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, and Court processes
- Carry out other social work tasks as directed by your manager

Qualifications & Experience:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience in safeguarding
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
