📍 Oxfordshire | 💰 £38,220 - £49,282 (dependent on experience) + Up to £3,500 Welcome Bonus | 🏡 Hybrid Working

The Role
As part of the Assessment Team, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding, undertaking high-quality assessments and ensuring children receive the right support at the right time.
You will:
- Complete timely assessments and Section 47 enquiries to identify risk and determine the most appropriate interventions
- Manage a diverse caseload, contributing to Child Protection Conferences, statutory planning, and court proceedings
- Lead complex and high-risk cases, driving positive outcomes for children and families
- Support and develop less experienced colleagues through coaching, mentoring, and reflective practice
- Work closely with partners across health, education, and other agencies to deliver coordinated, child-centred support
About You

You'll have:
- A Degree in Social Work and current Social Work England registration
- 2+ years' post-qualified experience and successful completion of the ASYE
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, assessment frameworks, and statutory thresholds
- Excellent analytical skills, sound professional judgement, and the ability to make confident decisions in complex situations
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
