Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and families? Starting Point, Derbyshire's leading front door service, is currently seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This is a part-time position required to be worked Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

At Starting Point, we are driven by the goal of providing exceptional services to children and families across Derbyshire. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing requests for intervention and determining the appropriate support needed. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring confident decision-making and effective teamwork. Building strong relationships with partner agencies and localities within Derbyshire is vital to ensure successful collaboration.

Requirements:

  • BA Honours in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England (refer to job and person profile for detailed information).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a person-centred approach to building rapport and relationships with children and families.
  • Reflective practice and development capabilities, enabling flexible and thoughtful social work interventions.
