Liquid Personnel are proud to be supporting Harrow Council in recruiting Social Workers and Senior Social Workers to join their Children in Need Team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-run and highly supportive safeguarding service, working with children and families subject to Child in Need plans, Child Protection plans, care proceedings and Children Looked After. The service is committed to delivering high-quality interventions and achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people across the borough.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of children and families requiring assessment, intervention and safeguarding support.
  • Work with children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
  • Undertake assessments, care planning and direct work to improve outcomes for children and families.
  • Contribute to care proceedings and permanency planning where required.
  • Build effective relationships with children, families and partner agencies.

For This Role You Will Need

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Successful completion of ASYE.
  • At least one year's post-qualified experience within Children's Services.
