The Role
You’ll design and implement cutting-edge application and software solutions for underwater robotics— align your work with Saab Seaeye’s business needs through innovation, creativity, and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing software for next-generation underwater vehicles
- Maintaining and enhancing existing codebases and products
Qualifications and Skills
Technical Expertise
- A Degree in a relevant discipline, such as:
- Engineering (mechanical/electrical systems)
- Software Engineering
- Proven C++ expertise (minimum C++11), with practical, modern experience
- Strong background in control software development
Design & Architecture
- Deep understanding of software design and architecture principles
- Experience in backend server design/structure
- Familiarity with standard web technologies (REST APIs, microservices, etc.)

Web & Development Proficiency
- Front-end capability: Ability to build functional web pages
- Competence in one or more:
- JavaScript
- Python
- XML/JSON
- HTML/CSS
Cross-platform support:
- Development on Windows and Linux
