We're hiring a Business Analyst to drive product discovery and backlog management for a fast-growing tech-enabled business. This is a permanent role offering clear progression to Product Owner within 12-18 months and cutting-edge technology exposure.

The Tech Stack • Azure DevOps & Jira for backlog management • .NET backend with React frontend • MAUI mobile applications • IoT gateway and hardware integration • Modern API-driven architecture • Legacy PHP systems (modernisation project)

What You'll Actually Do

Own the product backlog for established software serving the primary user base driving 90% of company revenue. You'll translate customer requirements into actionable user stories, manage sprint planning, and work directly with external customers – unusual for BA roles but hugely impactful.

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and stakeholder workshops. Create dashboards tracking KPIs and prepare release communications. You'll master legacy systems while contributing to next-generation product development.

Must-Have Experience • 3-4 years as Business Analyst in B2B software • Strong user story writing and acceptance criteria • Agile methodologies and sprint management • Azure DevOps or Jira proficiency • Excellent stakeholder communication

Nice-to-Have • API platform exposure • Regulated industry experience • Legacy system modernisation
