Business Development Manager – NHS

Up to OTE £140k+ uncapped | Pre-IPO trajectory | UK-wide (Hybrid: 3 days per week in Woking)

The Role

The Senior New-Business Development Manager will focus on expanding NHS market penetration for a proven digital experience platform. You will build high-value relationships, open new trust-level opportunities, and lead full enterprise sales cycles across your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business across a defined NHS territory, leveraging an existing base of 70+ NHS customers
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of strategic six-figure opportunities
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior NHS executives, digital leaders, and operational stakeholders
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, from discovery to close
  • Deliver high-impact demonstrations, proposals, and ROI-driven business cases
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product, delivery, and marketing to shape tailored solutions
  • Represent the organisation at NHS events, forums, and sector-specific conferences

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven enterprise software sales experience specifically selling into the NHS
  • Demonstrable success closing six-figure solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to navigate long NHS procurement cycles
  • Experience in building territory plans and driving consistent new-logo growth
  • Commercially sharp, credible with senior NHS stakeholders, and confident producing compelling business cases

Advantageous Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience selling digital experience platforms, patient portals, intranets, or AI-led digital solutions
  • Knowledge of NHS digital transformation priorities and ICS/Trust-level structures
  • Previous roles in high-growth or pre-IPO tech environments
