Job Description Summary

Job Description

Do you want to lead the technical delivery of advanced software solutions that keep the world’s power grids stable, secure, and ready for a zero-carbon future?

GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Delivery Manager to join our Electrification team based in Edinburgh.

GE Vernova - The Energy to Change the World

With over 130 years of experience and proven innovation, GE Vernova is leading a new era of energy. We are electrifying the world while working to decarbonize it. Our name reflects our mission. “GE” carries a legacy of quality and ingenuity. “Ver” signals Earth’s lush ecosystems, while “Nova” nods to a new era of lower-carbon energy we are helping to deliver.

Electrification

Our Electrification solutions modernize grids, enable renewable integration, and strengthen energy systems. From software to power conversion and storage, we help create smarter, more resilient energy networks.

Let’s Talk About The Role

The Software Delivery Manager / Technical Lead will own the end-to-end technical delivery model for our Wide Area Monitoring Systems (WAMS) projects, ensuring our complex enterprise software solutions are deployed to the highest standards of quality and performance.

You will act as the technical lead, coordinating across cross-functional teams to manage software deployment, operational testing, and infrastructure integration. By blending technical oversight with project execution, you will ensure our commitments to customers are met on time and within budget while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
