About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our dynamic development team. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in software development and at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role is essential. Strong technical expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, along with familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools, is required. Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, project management, and stakeholder communication is crucial. Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead and motivate teams are vital attributes. Certifications in project management (PMP, Scrum Master) or relevant technical areas will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the software development team to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Develop and implement best practices, coding standards, and technical strategies to optimize development processes.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring high quality and performance.
  • Mentor and support team members to foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues proactively.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance our product offerings.
