One of our Defence consultancy clients is growing a high-performing engineering team delivering secure digital capabilities across the UK National Security sector. We're looking for experienced Software Developers who enjoy solving complex technical problems within agile, multidisciplinary teams.
You'll play a key role in designing, building, and improving secure cloud-native applications, working alongside Platform Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Product Managers, UX specialists, and DevOps professionals.

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software using modern engineering best practices.
- Build secure, scalable cloud-native applications using Golang and related technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX teams, Platform Engineers, and DevOps Engineers within Agile delivery teams.
- Champion clean code, TDD, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to improve performance and reliability.
- Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions.
- Mentor junior developers and support technical growth across the team.
- Drive continuous improvement across development processes, tooling, and engineering standards.
- Ensure solutions meet security, quality, and performance requirements within highly secure environments.

Software Developer – Key Skills Required
- Active Enhanced DV (eDV) Clearance (essential)
- Experience delivering secure government or National Security software
