Software Developer
Starting Salary: £36,849 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Working pattern: 35 hours per week. Monday-Thursday in our Head Office in Lancaster, work from home on Fridays
About the role
We are looking for a talented Full Stack Software Developer to join our established but small team. You will play a key role in the development of a range of EdTech products. As a full stack developer, you will have concrete knowledge and industry experience of modern web technologies including Angular, TypeScript, Node, MySQL, REST API’s, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers in an Agile environment to support the delivery of intuitive, scalable, and secure solutions for our customers.
What you will be doing
- Designing and developing new features across our web applications.
- Building responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
- Developing scalable backend services.
- Designing and optimising MySQL databases.
- Writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
- Participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Collaborating with R&D, UX, CS, and Sales teams to deliver high-quality software.
