About The Role
MCS Group is excited to partner with a dynamic and innovative software house based in Coleraine, which specializes in developing cutting-edge, web-based platforms for some of the most prominent names in their sector. The company is seeking a skilled.NET Developer to join their talented team, working in a hybrid environment that balances office presence with remote work. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of modern web applications, enhance existing platforms, and work across a diverse technology stack, including VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL, C#, and Java. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of their clients and drive the company’s growth forward.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience with programming languages such as C# and ASP.NET
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Good grasp of debugging, maintaining, and enhancing existing platforms
- Keen eye for detail and quality
- Experience with application development, WCF, Web API, or Azure cloud services (advantageous)
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance modern, customer-facing web applications to improve user experience and functionality
- Debug, maintain, and optimize existing platforms to ensure stability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high standards of quality and maintainability
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve technical skills and project outcomes
- Support the deployment and integration of new features, ensuring seamless operation across different environments
