About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Safety Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire detection systems that align with industry standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in fire safety engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire detection and alarm system design and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, BS5839, and other relevant fire safety standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex technical data and develop practical solutions.
- Certifications such as FIA (Fire Industry Association) or equivalent are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop fire detection and alarm systems tailored to client requirements and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site assessments and risk evaluations to determine appropriate fire safety measures.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for fire safety systems.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on the latest industry standards, codes, and technological advancements.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure all projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
