About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at First Databank. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex healthcare data, developing actionable insights, and supporting the continuous improvement of our data products and services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for healthcare data. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that impact patient safety and healthcare quality on a global scale.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry, is required. Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools is essential. Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards, coding systems (such as ICD, CPT, NDC), and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns relevant to healthcare outcomes and drug utilization.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support internal teams and external clients.
  • Collaborating with product managers, clinicians, and IT teams to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Assisting in maintaining data quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Contributing to the development of new data-driven products and services.
  • Regularly staying updated with industry trends and technological advancements to enhance data analysis methodologies.
