Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our IT/Features team. Our IT development team innovates cutting-edge travel management software and systems, empowering global organisations in their mission-driven work.

You will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications and solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Software Engineer and cross-functional teams (e.g., Data Engineers, Business Analysts) to deliver high-performance, secure, and resilient applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop robust and scalable data integrations within the Azure Cloud platform.
  • Design and implement tools for subscribing and publishing to/from:
    • Azure Service Bus messaging entities,
    • RESTful APIs,
    • SQL databases.
  • Deploy well-tested code that meets acceptance criteria in an Agile DevOps environment.
  • Integrate applications across on-premises, private, and public cloud infrastructures.
  • Cohabit effectively with:
    • Data Engineers,
    • Business Analysts,
    • Solution Analysts to create and maintain reusable code.

Skills & Experience

Required Experience:

  • Mid-level proficiency as a Software Developer, with specialization in C#.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Azure Functions, including RESTful API development.
    • SQL, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Postman.
  • Deep expertise in Azure Integration Services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API Management.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and best practices.
  • Desirable: Certification in Azure or related cloud technologies.

  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience).

Working Arrangements

  • Office Location: Manchester City Centre, UK.
  • Hybrid Working Policy: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote (UK).
  • Regular Hours: Monday–Friday, 8.45 AM – 5:30 PM.
