Full-Stack Developer
12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (Family Leave Cover)
Hybrid - 1 day per week at our Derby office, the rest working from home
Up to £45,000 plus benefits

We're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our Technology & Change team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide family leave cover.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Developer who enjoys working across both front-end and back-end technologies, building high-quality applications, solving complex problems and collaborating with a supportive and agile team.
You'll play a key role in delivering new features, improving existing systems and helping us create technology solutions that make a real difference to our colleagues and customers.
As a Full Stack Developer, You'll
- Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using C#,.NET and Angular
- Build responsive, user-focused front-end experiences using Angular and TypeScript
- Develop and support back-end services, APIs and integrations.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and colleagues across Technology & Change to deliver valuable solutions
- Participate in sprint planning, refinements, code reviews and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and implement effective fixes
- Contribute ideas that improve performance, quality, security and user experience
- Support the continuous improvement of our development practices and standards

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Commercial experience developing applications with C# and.NET
- Experience with TypeScript
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and query development
- Experience working with REST APIs and modern web technologies
- Understanding of software development best practices, including testing and version control
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desirable
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Angular
- Experience using Docker and containerised applications
- Exposure to cloud-based environments
- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
🤝 Recruitment Process
- 1st stage: Teams interview with the hiring team
- 2nd stage: Technical task, to be completed ahead of a face to face interview at the Derby office
