Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Software Developer at CheetahNova. The Software Developer will design, build, and maintain web and software solutions that support client growth, including back-end services, APIs, and integrations for websites, applications, and automation tools. The role also involves:
- Reviewing requirements
- Estimating effort
- Troubleshooting issues
- Contributing to technical architecture decisions
The Software Developer will participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development workflows and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#).
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
- Understanding of web architecture, security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable system design.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, with clear communication and reliable time management.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows (CI/CD, code reviews, testing).
- Experience or interest in areas such as custom software development, automation, AI tools, or integrating with third-party services is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
