About The Role

We are partnering with a growing software house that specializes in delivering innovative, web-based platforms for some of the most prominent names in their industry. The company is seeking a skilled.NET Developer to join their dynamic team in Coleraine. This role offers a hybrid working approach, combining the flexibility of remote work with the collaboration and engagement of an office environment. As a.NET Developer, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing modern, customer-facing web applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and usability. Your work will involve debugging and maintaining existing platforms, working across a diverse technology stack that includes VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL, C#, and Java. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development with experience in programming languages such as C# and ASP.NET. A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of SQL databases and the software development lifecycle, demonstrating the ability to write clean, efficient code and troubleshoot issues effectively. Prior experience working on web applications and familiarity with different development frameworks will be advantageous. A proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and enhancing modern web applications that are customer-facing, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
  • Debugging and maintaining existing platforms, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to optimize performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contributing to code reviews and participating in agile development processes.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensuring seamless integration and functionality across different systems.
