About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team at Countfire. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining fire detection systems that meet regulatory standards and client specifications. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as NICET, NFPA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of experience in fire safety system design, installation, or inspection.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety standards, building codes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CAD software and fire safety design tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop fire detection and alarm systems tailored to client requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing fire safety measures and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system layouts, specifications, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee installation processes to guarantee adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
- Perform system testing and commissioning to verify operational effectiveness.
- Provide expert advice and training to clients and staff on fire safety protocols and system operation.
- Stay updated with the latest fire safety standards, technological advancements, and industry best practices to continuously improve offerings and ensure compliance.
