About the Role
As a Robotics Developer in our Agile DevOps team, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain robotic automation solutions using NICE Real Time Designer.
- Deliver high-quality, testable automation that extends existing systems, driving cost-effective functionality.
This hands-on role focuses on development and maintenance of live services.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Design and develop robotic automation solutions aligned with business needs
- Work in an Agile team to estimate, plan, and deliver user stories and technical tasks
- Write secure, clean, and well-tests code following modern software engineering principles
- Contribute to engineering standards, improving workflows where possible
- Support live robotic services, proactively monitoring and resolving production issues
- Mentor junior colleagues, fostering team capability
Note: This role may include line management responsibilities.
Essential Criteria
You must demonstrate:
- Practical experience in building automation solutions using NICE RPA tools or similar
- Experience in an Agile software development environment
- Knowledge of continuous integration practices, including:
- Unit testing
- Test-driven development
- Version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Experience with testing methodologies (e.g., performance, accessibility, security)
- Experience supporting or maintaining live services
- Ability to solve technical problems and improve processes

Desirable Criteria
Experience in:
- NICE Robotics Process Automation
- SQL databases
- API integrations into robotic services
- Continuous delivery principles
- HTML, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages
Location Information

Selection Process
Stage 1: Application Review
- Submit:
- A name-blind CV (max 100 words per role for past 3 positions)
- A 750-word personal statement explaining how you meet the Essential Criteria
- A 250-word technical statement answering: “How would you go about identifying and capturing an element on-screen for robotic automation?”
- Optional: Evidence of Desirable Criteria (250 words)

Stage 2: Sift Screening
- High-volume applications may undergo ** initial technical review** of the response statement.
Stage 3: Interview Process
Assessment panels will evaluate:
- Experience (Systems Design & Prototyping)
- Behaviours (Working Together)
- Technical skills (Robotic automation questions)
- Presentation (short pre-prepared case study—details provided if shortlisted)
